It's easy to get set up with a Basementia account.

Simply mail us three copies of your CD, a short note with how much you want from each sale and maybe a bit about the music and the artist, along with a postage-paid return envelope if you think you might want them back.

We check out your CD, and if we like it we post it for sale on this site along with a little blurb about you and your music. We will post three songs as samples so our website's visitors can hear your music.

If your entry is accepted, we retain one copy for our records, the other two are listed for sale online. If anybody buys one of your CD's, we send it to them and send you a check for your asking price. It's that simple. If we sell all the copies you sent us, we will ask you to send us more. If nobody buys one, you can ask for your CDs back at any time and we'll pop them in the mail in the postage-paid envelope you provided.

We work on no guaranteed time frame, but for a limited time the service is free. This is made possible because we do add a markup to your asking price; so we usually don't link back to your band's website if you're also selling the CD there.

Please note that to be eligible for consideration your CD must have, at the minimum, a printed cover and a printed CD label. A plain CDR with something scrawled on it with a Sharpie is not acceptable.

Also note that the decision to post your disc is made entirely at our discretion and we reserve the right to refuse entries for any reason. If your entry is refused and if you provided a postage-paid return envelope, we will return the materials to you.
